Stride is a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) platform. It monitors whether AI search engines recommend your brand — and tells you what to change when they don't.

The problem Stride solves

Buyers increasingly start with a question typed into an AI assistant rather than a search engine. The answer that comes back isn't ten blue links; it's a synthesized recommendation naming two or three brands. If you're named, you get a buyer who has already been pre-sold. If you're not, you're invisible in that transaction — and your analytics won't show you the miss, because there was never a click to measure.

Traditional SEO tools can't see this. They measure rankings on a results page that the buyer never opened.

What Stride monitors

Stride runs your target prompts against AI engines on a schedule and records how each one answers:

  • Whether your brand appears at all
  • Whether you're mentioned in the prose, cited as a linked source, or both
  • Which competitors appear alongside or instead of you
  • How those answers change over time

The distinction between a mention and a citation matters more than it sounds — see Mentions vs citations for why they're tracked separately.

Which AI engines are covered

Stride tracks ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Grok, plus Google AI Overviews.

How many of those your prompts run against depends on your plan — lower tiers cover the highest-traffic engines, higher tiers add the rest. See the pricing page for the coverage included with each plan.

What you do with the results

Findings become a prioritized action list rather than a report you have to interpret. Each scan produces recommendations tied to the evidence that triggered them, so you can see why a fix was suggested before you spend time on it.
