How does Stride check Google AI Overviews?

For each tracked question (a prompt), Stride runs one real Google search and records whether an AI Overview appeared, whether it mentioned your brand, and whether it cited one of your pages. Searches aren't set to a city or country.

What if Google shows no AI Overview?

That search counts as not mentioned. Google shows an Overview on some searches and not others, so Stride also reports how often one appeared at all, as AIO coverage.

Why are AI Overviews reported apart from ChatGPT and Gemini?

An AI Overview is part of a Google results page, not a chat answer. Stride shows it in its own Google AI Overviews view, apart from the results for the chat AI tools on your plan.

Does an AI Overview miss become a task?

Not today. Tasks and drafts come from your results in ChatGPT and the other chat AI tools on your plan.

Does Stride track Google AI Mode?

No. Stride tracks AI Overviews, the summaries at the top of Google results. AI Mode isn't tracked.
