Summary

Peec AI is hard to beat on measurement per dollar, so most teams that leave it want something Peec doesn't center: fixes drafted for them, or an agency model built for reselling. Stride fits teams that want each finding turned into a drafted fix and agencies that want per-client plans with unlimited seats. Goodie AI suits brands with a bigger budget that want content agents and revenue attribution, and Rankscale offers white-label dashboards from $385 a month.

Stride publishes this comparison and is one of the tools in it. Facts about Peec AI come from its own public pricing and product pages, checked on October 10, 2026, and are linked where they appear. Where another tool is the better choice, we say so.

Why do people look for Peec AI alternatives?

Not because Peec measures badly. Its pricing page shows Starter at $95 a month for 50 prompts tracked daily on three models, with unlimited users on every plan, deep source analytics, SKU-level shopping tracking and fact-checked prompts. Peec also ranks recommended actions and runs agent skills on your data.

The reasons we hear are about the step after measurement. Peec's pricing page doesn't list drafting page content, so someone still has to write the fix. Peec's documentation is clear that it is an analytics tool built on scraping each platform's interface, and it does that job well.

Agencies have a second reason. Peec's agency plans are priced in credits, with client users, free pitch projects, white-label reporting and one invoice, but the agency page shows no dollar prices in its text as of October 2026. Some agencies want a per-client price they can mark up.

How we evaluated

We ranked tools for a buyer who already knows Peec and wants more done with the data or a better fit for client work. The criteria: whether the tool drafts content or technical fixes, how its agency offer is priced and branded, engine coverage, and entry price. Every price below was checked on the vendor's own pricing page on October 10, 2026.

Prices are monthly in US dollars unless noted. Stride's facts come from our pricing page.

1. Stride

Best for: small teams that want findings turned into drafted fixes, and agencies that resell AI visibility as a retainer.

Stride turns every scan finding into an action item. Where the fix is content, it drafts the page or the edit from the answers and sources in your own scans, and later scans show whether the prompt moved. The action items and proof guide shows the full loop.

For agencies, Stride Agency is a $499 monthly platform fee plus a Starter, Grow or Scale plan per client at a discount, on one invoice. Team seats are unlimited, clients get their own logins with view-only or edit access, and white-label branding covers the dashboard and reports. Account transfer moves a client's site and history into their own account if they take the work in-house.

Strengths: drafts on every plan, GA4 conversions and revenue per AI source, agent-commerce protocol checks with no Shopify connection needed, and per-client pricing an agency can mark up.

Limits: Peec measures more for less. Stride Starter tracks 25 prompts weekly on ChatGPT only; Grow ($349) covers ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude (beta) three times a week; Copilot and AI Mode aren't tracked on any plan. There is no API, MCP or SSO, and seats are capped at 2, 3 or 5 outside Agency.

Price: Starter $99, Grow $349 ($279 annual), Scale $1,297 ($1,037 annual), Agency $499 plus client plans, as of October 2026. See Stride vs Peec AI for the head-to-head.

2. Goodie AI

Best for: brands with a larger budget that want content agents and revenue attribution in one tool.

Goodie's Core plan is $399 a month for 120 prompts on ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity, AI Mode and Copilot, with five seats. Every brand plan includes the same content agents, among them an AEO content writer, a technical agent and llms.txt and sitemap repair, capped by monthly action credits. Pro at $999 adds Gemini, Alexa and unlimited seats.

Strengths: GA4, Search Console and Bing integrations on every brand plan, revenue attribution, and SKU-level agentic commerce on Pro.

Limits: four times Peec's entry price. The agency plan is billed quarterly or annually, and its table doesn't say whether client workspaces get the content agents.

Price: from $399 a month, agency from $275 a month, on Goodie's pricing page, as of October 2026.

3. Promptwatch

Best for: teams that like Peec's price points and want articles written for them.

Promptwatch mirrors Peec's first two prices. Essential is $95 a month for 50 prompts on four models; Professional is $245 for 150 prompts, Agent Analytics and five AEO articles a month. Models come from a list that includes ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Claude, Gemini and Grok.

Strengths: five AEO articles a month at the same price as Peec Pro, with API and MCP listed on all plans.

Limits: one seat on Essential and two on Professional, against Peec's unlimited users. No agency plan appears on the pricing page, and the page's plan bullets and feature matrix disagree on API and MCP availability.

Price: from $95 a month on Promptwatch's pricing page, as of October 2026.

4. Writesonic

Best for: content teams that want an AI writer first and visibility tracking second.

Writesonic bundles tracking with its article writer. Starter is $79 a month billed annually, with 50 tracked prompts, 15 articles a month and one user. Basic is $199 and Growth $399, both billed annually. All three self-serve plans track ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews.

Strengths: high article volume for the price and a free trial with no card.

Limits: three engines until Enterprise, which adds Perplexity, Claude, Copilot, AI Mode and Grok. Monthly-billed prices aren't shown, and GA4 is Enterprise-only.

Price: from $79 a month billed annually on Writesonic's pricing page, as of October 2026.

5. Rankscale

Best for: agencies that want white-label dashboards across many engines on a modest budget.

Rankscale prices by credits that run prompts across engines, with no per-engine upsell. Pro is $99 a month for 1,200 credits and 10 brand dashboards. Growth at $385 adds white-label and 50 dashboards. Paid plans list ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Claude, Copilot, DeepSeek and Mistral.

Strengths: white-label dashboards below Stride Agency's $499 platform fee, and broad engine coverage at every paid tier.

Limits: credits make monthly volume harder to predict than a prompt count. Drafting content isn't listed on its pricing page.

Price: from $99 a month on Rankscale's pricing page, as of October 2026.

6. Otterly

Best for: agencies that want a cheap partner program with pitch audits and many workspaces.

Otterly's Agency Partner program sits on top of its Standard ($189) or Premium ($489) plans. Partners get extra prompts, unlimited workspaces, pitch workspaces for prospect audits, custom-branded Looker Studio reports and one invoice.

Strengths: low cost per client, ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot included, and high GEO audit limits.

Limits: it sits closer to Peec than to the action tools here; Lite caps recommendations at three a week, and drafting isn't the focus. Gemini, AI Mode and Claude cost extra.

Price: from $29 a month, partner program from $189, on Otterly's pricing page, as of October 2026. Our Otterly alternatives page covers where it runs short.

How to switch without losing your baseline

  1. Export first. Peec offers CSV exports and an API. Pull your prompts, competitors and recent results before you cancel.
  2. Keep the same prompts. Load them unchanged into the new tool so trends stay comparable.
  3. Compare shared engines only. If you tracked Copilot or AI Mode in Peec, check the new tool covers them before you judge the numbers.
  4. Overlap for two to four weeks. Daily tracking in Peec against weekly or three-times-a-week elsewhere will look noisier at first.
  5. Agencies: move one client first. Prove the new reports and logins with a friendly client before migrating the book.

Frequently asked questions

Why would I leave Peec AI?

Usually not for better measurement. Peec tracks 50 prompts daily on three models from $95 a month with unlimited users. Teams leave when they want the tool to draft the fixes, or when they run an agency and want a per-client price they can resell and mark up.

Which Peec AI alternative drafts content from its findings?

Stride drafts content on every plan from $99 a month, grounded in your own scan evidence. Goodie AI includes content agents on every brand plan from $399, Promptwatch adds five articles a month at $245, and Writesonic bundles an article writer from $79 a month billed annually.

Which Peec AI alternative is best for agencies?

It depends on how you sell. Stride Agency is a $499 monthly platform fee plus a discounted plan per client, with unlimited seats, white-label branding and account transfer. Goodie's agency plan is $275 a month plus client workspaces from $399. Rankscale includes white-label dashboards from $385 a month.

Does any alternative track more engines than Peec AI?

Yes. Rankscale lists ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Claude, Copilot, DeepSeek and Mistral on its paid plans. Most tools on this page track fewer engines than Peec's Enterprise plan, and Stride tracks at most four plus Google AI Overviews.

How do I move from Peec AI without losing my baseline?

Export your prompts and results by CSV or API before you cancel, load the same prompts into the new tool, and run both for two to four weeks on the engines they share. Then record a new baseline week and explain the shift to stakeholders.
