— The narrow view

Being named looks like a win.Buyers ask four other ways.

Brambleway Bikes asks ChatGPT what a folding e-bike is and sees its own name. Buyers who ask which folding e-bike to buy hear about Spokehaus, and Brambleway isn't on the list.

— How Stride solves it

See every way buyers ask, not just the easy one.

Step 1: Pick your topics

Pick the categories you want to own

Each one comes with its five questions drafted.

Stride suggests topics from what you sell and the questions you already track. Edit any question, or name a topic of your own.

Step 2: Ask five ways

Five ways buyers ask about it

Two of five on each AI tool. Never when they ask what to buy.

Each topic gets a definition, comparison, alternatives, use-case and buying question, asked on ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity, as your plan includes them.

Attack window is open

No brand owns this category cleanly. A focused push on the missing or weak question shapes can flip leadership.

Questions, answered.

How many topics can I track?

Starter tracks 3 topics, Grow 10 and Scale 25, and any plan can add 5 more for $29 a month. Each topic is checked on your plan's AI tools: ChatGPT on Starter, plus Gemini and Claude on Grow, plus Perplexity on Scale. Google AI Overviews isn't used for topics.

Do topics use up my tracked questions?

No. A topic's five questions sit outside your plan's question allowance (its prompt limit), so tracking a topic leaves the questions you already track untouched.

What are the five kinds of question?

Definition (what it is), Comparison (the best options side by side), Alternatives (what to pick instead of the leader), Use case (which fits a particular need) and Buying (which one to buy). You can edit any of the five; a new wording starts a fresh baseline.

Where do topic suggestions come from?

From the products and services you confirm at signup, and from grouping the prompts you already track. With Google Search Console connected, each suggestion shows how often people search for it. You can also name your own topic and have AI draft its five questions.

What do Owned, Held, Contending and Growing mean?

Each topic takes its label from the AI tool that names you most often. Owned is 80% of answers or more, Held 60% to 79%, Contending 40% to 59% and Growing under 40%.
