Summary
Scrunch is the better buy for a brand team that wants more measurement on one plan: $250 a month tracks 125 prompts on four engines with five users, and Enterprise adds AXP, which serves AI agents a machine-readable copy of your site. Stride fits teams that want each finding turned into a drafted fix, AI visits tied to GA4 revenue, and Gemini and Claude tracked before an enterprise contract. Marketing teams heading for Enterprise will usually prefer Scrunch; small teams and agencies that need output and revenue proof on a self-serve budget should look hard at Stride.
Stride publishes this comparison and is one of the tools in it. Facts about Scrunch come from its own public pricing and product pages, checked on October 12, 2026, and are linked where they appear. Where another tool is the better choice, we say so.

Which gives you more measurement per dollar?
Scrunch, at the plan most teams start on. Core's $250 buys 125 prompts, 5,000 responses a month across four engines, five competitors, five users and five site audits a month. Prompts are organised by funnel stage, and Scrunch shows the citations and sources behind each answer. Core covers one country, one language and one persona; Enterprise lifts those limits.
Stride's nearest plan is Grow at $349 a month, or $279 billed annually: 50 prompts three times a week, three seats, and three engines. If you only need ChatGPT, Starter does the job at $99 with 25 prompts a week. On raw tracking, Scrunch Core gives you more for the money.
Which tracks the engines my buyers use?
It depends on the engines. Scrunch Core includes Copilot and Perplexity, which Stride's Grow plan doesn't. Stride doesn't track Copilot on any plan, and Perplexity arrives on Scale.
Stride Grow includes Gemini and Claude (beta), plus Google AI Overviews on the first 15 prompts you add. On Scrunch, Gemini and Claude come with Enterprise, along with Meta AI, AI Mode and Grok. If your buyers live in Microsoft 365, Scrunch Core covers them. If they use Gemini or Claude and you want a self-serve plan, Stride does.
Which one helps me fix what it finds?
Both point you at fixes, and they put the weight in different places. Scrunch Core includes insights and recommendations, basic content generation and one page optimization a month, with more on Enterprise.
Stride drafts on every plan. Each scan finding becomes an action item, and where the fix is content, Stride drafts the page or the edit from the answers and sources in your own scans. Starter includes three drafts a week; Grow 25 a month; Scale 100. You review and publish, and later scans show whether the prompt moved.
Stride also checks what AI says about you. Brand Integrity, on Grow and up, flags false or unsupported claims, such as a wrong price or a retired product, explains what source evidence is missing, and turns each one into an action item.
How does Scrunch AXP compare with Stride's AI Readiness?
They tackle the same problem from opposite ends. Scrunch's Agent Experience Platform sits at the CDN layer, with integrations for Akamai, Cloudflare and Vercel. When an AI retrieval bot asks for a page, AXP serves a compact, structured version of it, while people and search crawlers see your normal site. It is part of Enterprise.
Stride's AI Readiness crawls your site and reports what blocks AI: robots rules, llms.txt, schema and discovery endpoints, plus checks for agent-commerce protocols such as ACP, UCP and x402. Each gap becomes an action item for your team to fix in the site itself. It runs on every plan, and it changes nothing on your site without you.
If you want AI agents served a different version of your site and have an enterprise budget, AXP is the more direct answer. If you want to fix the site you have, Stride's checks get you there for less.
Which shows what AI traffic is worth?
Stride. Its AI traffic view connects to GA4 and shows sessions, conversions and revenue for each AI source, on every plan. That is the number a CEO asks for.
Scrunch's Agent Traffic shows which AI bots visit, how often, which pages they use most and how human and bot visits compare by model. That is useful for understanding how AI reads your site. Its page doesn't describe a GA4 connection or revenue reporting.

Which is better for agencies?
Scrunch's agency program puts every client in one workspace with role-based access, gives clients guest access to their own brand, and includes prospecting licenses for pitch environments. Partners earn referral rewards of up to 20%. Agency pricing is quoted on request.
Stride Agency is a $499 monthly platform fee plus a discounted Starter, Grow or Scale plan for each client, all on one invoice. Seats are unlimited, clients get view-only or edit logins, branding carries across the dashboard and reports, and account transfer hands a client their site and history if they leave. The agency page covers the model.

Two quick scenarios
A brand marketing lead at a mid-size software company. Their buyers use Copilot at work, they need seats for the content and product marketing teams, and IT will want SSO next year. Scrunch fits: Core covers the engines and the team now, and Enterprise covers the rest later.
The owner of a regional furniture retailer. They have one marketer and need to know whether AI search sells sofas. Stride fits: GA4 shows revenue from each AI source, Brand Integrity catches the wrong delivery area ChatGPT keeps quoting, and each fix arrives as an action item with a draft.
