Summary
Writesonic is the better buy if you want an AI writer and an AI visibility tracker in one subscription: from $79 a month billed annually you get daily tracking on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, 15 articles a month and site audits. Stride fits teams that need more engines below enterprise pricing, GA4 revenue per AI source on every plan, and fixes drafted from their own scan evidence. Content teams already producing at volume will usually lean Writesonic; small teams that need to know which fix matters and what AI traffic is worth should look at Stride.
Stride publishes this comparison and is one of the tools in it. Facts about Writesonic come from its own public pricing and product pages, checked on October 13, 2026, and are linked where they appear. Where another tool is the better choice, we say so.

Writesonic's figures come from its pricing page and agency pricing page. Stride's come from our pricing page.
Which tracks more AI engines on a self-serve plan?
It depends on your budget. Writesonic tracks eight platforms, but its pricing page lists only ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews on Starter, Basic and Growth. Perplexity, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Grok and Google AI Mode are on Enterprise, which is priced by demo.
Stride's Starter tracks ChatGPT only. Grow, at $349 a month or $279 billed annually, adds Gemini and Claude (beta), plus Google AI Overviews on the first 15 prompts you add. Scale adds Perplexity and full AI Overviews at a published $1,297 a month.
Stride doesn't track Copilot, AI Mode, Grok, Meta AI or DeepSeek on any plan. If you need Copilot or AI Mode, Writesonic Enterprise covers them and Stride doesn't.
What does each tool write for you?
Writing is Writesonic's home ground. Every plan includes its AI Article Writer, a content strategy tool, an SEO and content agent, writing styles for brand voice, and site audits with automatic AI fixes. Growth at $399 a month billed annually includes 50 articles, and extra articles cost $100 for 20.
Its documentation walks through each module. If you want a high volume of SEO and AI-search articles, Writesonic gives you more per dollar.
Stride writes less and aims each draft. Every scan finding becomes an action item, and where the fix is content, Stride drafts the page or edit from the answers and sources in your own scans. Starter includes three drafts a week; Grow and Scale include 25 and 100 a month. Later scans show whether the prompt moved.
Writesonic's own prioritized worklist, its Action Center, is a limited trial on Growth and full on Enterprise.
Which shows what AI traffic is worth?
Stride, below Enterprise. Stride's AI traffic view reads GA4 on every plan and reports sessions, conversions and revenue for each AI source, so you can see whether a ChatGPT visitor bought.
Writesonic includes AI bot analytics on every plan, which shows how AI crawlers reach your site. Its GA4 integration and Looker Studio connection are listed on Enterprise only. Its pricing page quotes customers who attribute deals to AI search, so if you're headed to Enterprise anyway, ask how it reports revenue.
Which is better for a store selling online?
Stride, unless you're buying Writesonic Enterprise. Stride's AI Readiness crawls any site and checks it against agent-commerce protocols such as ACP, UCP and x402, and each gap becomes an action item. That's live today on every plan with no store connection needed.

Writesonic lists shopping and agentic commerce tracking on Enterprise, along with an AI shopping tracker in its product menu. Stride doesn't track ChatGPT Shopping results, and its Shopify catalog sync launches with its Shopify App Store listing.
Which is better for agencies?
Writesonic has the more developed partner program. Its agency page describes a reseller model where you white-label Writesonic, set your own pricing and bill clients yourself, alongside client workspaces, role-based access and one invoice for all client projects. Agency Starter costs $200 a month for 20 short pitch projects on every model except Claude, with unlimited users; converting a pitch to an ongoing client starts at $150 a project a month, and white-label reporting is on Agency Enterprise.
Stride Agency is a $499 monthly platform fee plus a discounted Starter, Grow or Scale plan per client, on one invoice. Seats are unlimited, clients get their own logins, branding carries across dashboards and reports, and a client's site and history can move into their own account if they take the work in-house. The agency page covers the model.
