Summary

AirOps is a content production platform for teams that run AI search content at scale, priced on task volume through its team. Gauge is the closest swap with a listed price, Writesonic and Promptwatch pair tracking with articles at lower entry points, and Stride fits smaller teams that want each draft tied to a gap their scans found. Pick by how much content you produce a month.

Stride publishes this comparison and is one of the tools in it. Facts about AirOps come from its own public pricing and product pages, checked on October 13, 2026, and are linked where they appear. Where another tool is the better choice, we say so.

Why do people look for AirOps alternatives?

Mostly to see a price. As of October 2026, AirOps' pricing page lists Solo, Pro and Enterprise with no dollar amounts. Its FAQ says pricing is based on task volume and needs, and tasks are the unit AirOps uses to count content and data actions.

What AirOps sells is deep. Solo covers ChatGPT insights, 35,000 tasks, one brand kit and three knowledge bases for one user. Pro adds insights across 7+ answer engines, 100,000 tasks, five knowledge bases, CMS, SEO, AEO, social and project integrations, and unlimited seats. The platform lists playbooks and workflows, content quality scores, human review and approvals, version history, and an MCP and API.

Two other reasons come up. Task billing takes estimating, since the task count depends on step types and data processed. And a small team may not need a workflow builder to fix a handful of pages.

How we evaluated

We looked for tools that track AI answers and produce the content to improve them, with a price on the vendor's own pricing page on October 13, 2026. We ranked them by fit for a content team leaving AirOps: content volume and quality controls, publishing, engine coverage, and cost.

Prices are monthly in US dollars unless noted. Stride's facts come from our pricing page.

Facts last verified October 13, 2026. Prices and plan limits change often; each vendor's pricing page is linked so you can check today's numbers.

1. Gauge

Best for: content teams that want high-volume tracking and publishing in one tool, at a listed price.

Gauge's Growth plan is $599 a month for 600 prompts run daily across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot, about 108,000 answers a month. It includes 18 publish-ready articles a month, five seats, MCP, GA4, Search Console and DataForSEO integrations, and publishing to Webflow, Framer, Sanity and GitHub. Claude and Grok run on any plan with your own API key.

Strengths: the closest match to AirOps' research-to-publish loop, plus the Ask Gauge agent across your data.

Limits: 18 articles a month is a fraction of what a heavy AirOps workflow can produce. More needs Enterprise.

Price: $599 a month on Gauge's pricing page, with a 1-week free trial, as of October 2026.

2. Writesonic

Best for: teams that want articles, site audits and tracking for the lowest cost per article.

Writesonic's Starter is $99 a month, or $79 billed annually, for 50 prompts tracked daily on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, 15 AI articles a month and ten site audits. Basic and Growth raise articles to 25 and 50 a month. It lists brand-voice writing styles, automatic fixes from site audits, and agentic workflows, with full access on Enterprise.

Strengths: an AI article writer, a WordPress integration, and an agency program with white-label reporting.

Limits: three engines below Enterprise, one user on Starter, and limited trial runs of agentic workflows below Enterprise. Our Writesonic alternatives page covers the gaps.

Price: from $99 a month on Writesonic's pricing page, as of October 2026.

3. Promptwatch

Best for: teams that want an API, content refresh and Webflow or Framer publishing on a self-serve plan.

Promptwatch tracks four models per plan, chosen from a list that includes ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Claude, Gemini and Grok. Essential is $95 a month for 50 prompts with no articles. Professional is $245 for 150 prompts, two seats, Agent Analytics, a knowledge base and 5 AEO articles a month. Business is $579 for 350 prompts and 10 articles.

Strengths: MCP and API access on every plan, content gap analysis and content refresh agents, and Webflow and Framer integrations.

Limits: few articles per plan compared with AirOps, and one seat at entry. See our Promptwatch alternatives page.

Price: from $95 a month on Promptwatch's pricing page, as of October 2026.

4. Stride

Best for: smaller teams that want every piece of content tied to a gap their scans found, and checked afterward.

AirOps gives you a system to build content workflows. Stride starts from the evidence instead: each scan finding becomes an action item, and where a page is missing, Stride drafts it from your own scan results, with editorial checks and pricing-claim verification. After you publish, later scans track whether it worked. Brand Integrity, on Grow and Scale, flags false claims AI makes about you and routes the fix into the same list.

Strengths: drafts on every plan (3 a week on Starter, 25 a month on Grow, 100 on Scale), AI traffic with GA4 conversions and revenue per AI source, and listed prices with a 7-day trial.

Limits: far less content volume than AirOps, no CMS publishing, no workflow builder, and no API or MCP. Starter tracks ChatGPT only, 25 prompts weekly; the widest plan covers ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude (beta) and Perplexity plus Google AI Overviews.

Price: Starter $99, Grow $349 ($279 annual), Scale $1,297 ($1,037 annual). Our Stride vs AirOps page compares the two.

5. Siftly

Best for: founders who want posts written, published and promoted for a small monthly fee.

Siftly's Starter is $79 a month for 50 prompts tracked daily on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity, with 8 blog posts a month, auto-publish and 5 citation outreach campaigns. Growth is $249 for 100 prompts, 30 posts with FAQ and schema, Gemini, AI bot crawl tracking and GA4 and Search Console. Scale is $599 for 60 posts and social distribution.

Strengths: publishing and outreach included from the entry plan, plus a free tier with 10 prompts.

Limits: three engines on Starter; Claude arrives only on Enterprise.

Price: from $79 a month on Siftly's pricing page, as of October 2026.

6. Trakkr

Best for: teams that want every major model and a steady article allowance for $100 a month.

Trakkr's Growth plan is $100 a month for one brand, 50 prompts tracked daily across eight models (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI), 25 articles a month and three seats. Scale is $500 for ten brands, 100 articles, unlimited seats, white-label portals and a REST API.

Strengths: the most engines and articles at its price point in this group, plus MCP access.

Limits: the pricing page doesn't describe CMS publishing or workflow tools, so it fits tracking-led teams better than content operations.

Price: from $100 a month on Trakkr's pricing page, with a 14-day trial that needs a card, as of October 2026.

How to switch without losing your baseline

  1. Copy out your inputs. Brand kits, knowledge bases and prompt lists are the slow part to rebuild. Save them before access ends.
  2. Leave published pages alone. They live on your site, not in AirOps. Only drafts and workflows need moving.
  3. Rebuild the same tracked prompts. Keep the list identical so trend lines stay comparable.
  4. Match engines. If you were on Solo, compare ChatGPT first, since that's what Solo tracked.
  5. Run both for two to four weeks, then record the new tool's settled week as your baseline.

Where does Stride fit as an AirOps alternative?

How do I move off AirOps without losing work?

Copy out your brand kits, knowledge bases and any drafts before you cancel. Published pages stay on your site. Rebuild your tracked prompts in the new tool and run both for two to four weeks before you rely on the new numbers.
