Summary
XFunnel's pricing page now lists a free one-time audit and a custom Enterprise plan, so a team that wants ongoing tracking without an Enterprise contract needs another tool. HubSpot AEO is the obvious next step for teams already on HubSpot, Peec AI is the closest self-serve match on measurement, and Stride fits small teams that want each finding turned into a drafted fix. Choose by what you valued in XFunnel: the engine coverage, or the help acting on it.
Stride publishes this comparison and is one of the tools in it. Facts about XFunnel come from its own public pricing and product pages, checked on October 13, 2026, and are linked where they appear. Where another tool is the better choice, we say so.
Why do people look for XFunnel alternatives?
Two reasons: the plan shape and the ownership.
As of October 13, 2026, XFunnel's pricing page shows two plans. Free Starter is a one-time audit of 50 queries in one language and region. Enterprise is custom-priced: unlimited queries, daily monitoring, all languages and regions, weekly strategy assessments, and support over Slack, email and phone.
There is no self-serve paid tier in between. Enterprise is billed as "Full platform + services", and the page lists managed services such as content creation, Reddit engagement, Wikipedia work and an affiliate network.
XFunnel's engine list is wide. The free audit covers ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity. Enterprise lists ChatGPT, ChatGPT with browsing, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Copilot and Grok, with Meta AI and DeepSeek marked coming soon.
Its homepage pitches a dedicated analyst and weekly meetings. For an enterprise brand that wants a service relationship, that is a full offer.
The ownership question: HubSpot announced an agreement to acquire XFunnel and said XFunnel would be integrated natively into HubSpot's marketing products. XFunnel's site doesn't mention the deal beyond HubSpot-hosted privacy and terms links. If you need to know where the product is headed before you renew, ask XFunnel directly and compare the options below.
How we evaluated
We looked for tools a buyer can start on without a sales call. Each had to show a price on its own pricing page on October 13, 2026. We ranked them for a mid-size marketing team leaving XFunnel: ongoing tracking, engine coverage, what the tool does with its findings, and price.
Prices are monthly in US dollars unless noted. Stride's facts come from our pricing page. If you want another Enterprise contract with broad engine coverage instead, Profound sells custom Enterprise after a free 7-day trial, per its pricing page.

Facts last verified October 13, 2026. Prices and plan limits change often; each vendor's pricing page is linked so you can check today's numbers.
1. HubSpot AEO
Best for: teams whose marketing already runs on HubSpot, and anyone who wants daily tracking for the least money.
HubSpot AEO costs $50 a month, or $45 billed annually, for 25 prompts on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, with the score updated daily. Each extra brand is another $50 a month. It needs no other HubSpot subscription, and Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise include it with more prompts.
Strengths: the lowest price for daily three-engine tracking in this list, and a free start with no card. For HubSpot customers, it sits where the rest of their marketing data already lives.
Limits: three engines, with no Claude, AI Mode or Copilot. The product page doesn't show the price of extra prompts.
Price: from $50 a month on the HubSpot AEO page, as of October 2026.
2. Peec AI
Best for: SEO and marketing teams that want XFunnel-style measurement depth on a self-serve plan.
Starter is $95 a month for 50 prompts tracked daily on any three models from ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI. Pro is $245 for 150 prompts and Advanced is $495 for 350, with 15% off annually and unlimited users on every plan.
Strengths: source and gap analysis, recommended actions, brand perception and fact checks, plus a Shopify or CSV catalog for product-level tracking. An API and MCP are listed.
Limits: three models on standard plans; Claude and Grok are listed for Enterprise. No analyst or managed service.
Price: from $95 a month on Peec's pricing page, as of October 2026.
3. Stride
Best for: small teams that liked XFunnel's "take action" side and want the work drafted for them, without an Enterprise contract.
XFunnel sells measurement plus experiments and services. Stride does the middle part in software: every scan finding becomes an action item, and content gaps come with a draft grounded in your own scan evidence. When you publish, later scans show whether the prompt moved, and the AI traffic view reads GA4 conversions and revenue for each AI source.
Strengths: drafts on every plan (3 a week on Starter, 25 or 100 a month on Grow and Scale), Brand Integrity from Grow to catch false claims AI makes about you, and agent-commerce protocol checks for online stores.
Limits: Starter tracks ChatGPT only, 25 prompts weekly. Scale covers ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude (beta) and Perplexity plus Google AI Overviews, with no Copilot, AI Mode or Grok. There is no API, SSO or analyst service, and you publish the drafts yourself.
Price: Starter $99, Grow $349 ($279 annual), Scale $1,297 ($1,037 annual), as of October 2026.
4. Scrunch
Best for: teams that want five users and a path to Enterprise features such as an agent-facing version of their site.
Scrunch Core is $250 a month for 125 prompts, 5,000 responses a month and five users, on ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and Copilot, with sentiment, citations and AI bot traffic. Enterprise expands to nine models and adds AXP (its Agent Experience Platform), API access and SAML SSO.
Strengths: five seats at entry and a strong Enterprise tier for teams that grow into it.
Limits: four engines and one persona on Core; Claude, Gemini and AI Mode need Enterprise.
Price: Core $250 a month on Scrunch's pricing page, as of October 2026.
5. Promptwatch
Best for: teams that want Claude, Gemini or Grok tracked on a cheap plan, with article drafting on higher tiers.
Each Promptwatch plan tracks four models chosen from ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Claude, Gemini, Meta Llama, DeepSeek and Grok. Essential is $95 a month for 50 prompts and one seat. Professional is $245 for 150 prompts, Agent Analytics and five AEO articles a month. Business is $579.
Strengths: a wide model menu at $95, and MCP and API access listed on every plan.
Limits: four models at a time, one seat at entry, and Copilot isn't on its list.
Price: from $95 a month on Promptwatch's pricing page, as of October 2026.
6. Otterly
Best for: teams that want to keep a light watch on AI answers for the least money.
Otterly's Lite plan is $29 a month for 15 prompts on ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot, with unlimited team members. Standard is $189 for 100 prompts and adds API and MCP access. Gemini, AI Mode and Claude are paid add-ons.
Strengths: the lowest entry price here, Copilot included from day one.
Limits: 15 prompts is a sample, not a market view, and Claude costs $29 to $439 a month extra depending on plan.
Price: from $29 a month on Otterly's pricing page, as of October 2026.
How to switch without losing your baseline
- Export before access ends. Pull your query set, competitor list and recent results from XFunnel while your contract is live.
- Rebuild the same prompt set. Load the exact prompts into the new tool. Changing prompts and tools at once makes every trend line meaningless.
- Match engines. XFunnel lists up to nine engines; most tools here track three or four. Compare only the engines both track.
- Run both for two to four weeks. AI answers vary from run to run, so one scan proves little. Watch the direction of travel, not the absolute number.
- Reset the baseline on purpose. Once the new tool's numbers settle, record that week as your new starting point and tell stakeholders why the figures moved.

Frequently asked questions
Is XFunnel still available?
Yes. As of October 2026, XFunnel's site is live and its pricing page lists a free one-time audit of 50 queries and a custom Enterprise plan with daily monitoring and weekly strategy assessments. HubSpot announced an agreement to acquire XFunnel in October 2025 and said it would build XFunnel into its marketing products.
Is HubSpot AEO the same product as XFunnel?
Neither company's pages say so. HubSpot said it would integrate XFunnel natively into its marketing products, and HubSpot now sells its own AEO product for $50 a month, or $45 billed annually, tracking 25 prompts on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. XFunnel's own site still runs separately.
What is the closest self-serve alternative to XFunnel's Enterprise plan?
Peec AI for measurement. It tracks prompts daily from $95 a month on three models chosen from a list that includes AI Mode and Copilot, with unlimited users, source analytics and recommended actions. XFunnel's Enterprise plan adds analyst support and services that no self-serve tool here matches.
Where does Stride fit as an XFunnel alternative?
Stride fits a small team that liked the action side of XFunnel but can't commit to an Enterprise contract. Every scan finding becomes an action item with a drafted fix where the gap is content, and GA4 shows revenue from AI visits, from $99 a month. It tracks fewer engines than XFunnel and offers no analyst service.
How do I switch from XFunnel without losing my history?
Export your query set, competitor list and recent results before your contract ends. Load the same prompts into the new tool, compare only engines both tools track, and run both side by side for two to four weeks before you reset your baseline.
