Summary
SE Ranking is the better buy if you want classic SEO and AI visibility tracking from one vendor at a low price: SE Visible checks 200 prompts a day on five AI engines from $79 a month billed annually, and SE Ranking's SEO plans put AI tracking next to rank tracking, audits and agency reports. Stride costs more per prompt and fits teams that want each finding turned into a drafted fix, with AI visits tied to GA4 revenue. SEO teams and agencies already reporting in SE Ranking should start there; small marketing teams and online stores that need the work done should look at Stride.
Stride publishes this comparison and is one of the tools in it. Facts about SE Ranking come from its own public pricing and product pages, checked on October 13, 2026, and are linked where they appear. Where another tool is the better choice, we say so.

How do the SE Ranking options fit together?
SE Ranking sells AI visibility two ways, which confuses buyers.
The SEO plans now carry some AI tracking themselves. Core ($129 a month, $103.20 annually) includes 100 prompts tracked daily alongside 2,000 keywords, and Growth ($279, $223.20 annually) includes 250. The pricing page doesn't say which AI engines those base prompts cover.
The AI Search add-on sits on top. It costs $89 a month, or $71.20 billed annually, for 200 prompts in an AI Results Tracker covering AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT and Perplexity, unlimited competitor research across them, and access to SE Visible with 200 prompts.
SE Visible is the standalone brand tool. Basic starts from $99 a month, or $79 annually, for 200 prompts and three projects. Core is from $189 ($151 annually) for 450 prompts, and Plus is from $355 ($284 annually) for 1,000.
Every plan checks ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Mode, Perplexity and AI Overviews daily. Its FAQ says it collects answers through a browser interface rather than an API, and its API exposes nearly everything in the app.
Which gives more measurement for the money?
SE Ranking, clearly. 200 prompts a day across five engines for $79 to $99 a month is about 30,000 AI answers a month, by SE Visible's own count. Stride Starter scans 25 prompts weekly on ChatGPT for $99. Even Stride Scale, at $1,297 a month, tracks 300 prompts with the top 100 daily.
SE Visible also covers Google AI Mode, which Stride doesn't track at all. If your buyers search in AI Mode, that settles it.
What does each tool do after it measures?
This is where they split. SE Visible shows mentions, sentiment, competitors, prompts and the domains and URLs AI cites, with filters by engine, topic and date. Its "coming soon" list includes reporting and advanced analytics.
SE Ranking's wider platform adds rank tracking, site audits and backlinks for classic SEO. Neither AI page lists drafting content from AI findings.
Stride spends its effort on the step after the report. Every scan finding becomes an action item, and for content gaps Stride drafts the page or edit, grounded in the answers and sources from your own scans. Starter includes three drafts a week, Grow 25 a month, Scale 100 a month. When you publish, later scans show whether the prompt moved; the action items page shows how.
Stride also checks whether AI tells the truth about you. Brand Integrity, on Grow and up, flags false or unsupported claims in AI answers and routes each fix into an action item.
Which shows whether AI visits make money?
Stride. Its AI traffic view reads your GA4 property and reports sessions, conversions and revenue for each AI source, including assistants Stride doesn't scan, such as Copilot.
SE Ranking's AI pages focus on visibility inside answers. They don't list AI referral traffic or GA4 revenue, so you'd read that in GA4 yourself.

Which is better for agencies?
It depends on what you resell. SE Ranking's Agency Pack is $69 a month, billed annually, for 30 client seats, white-label platform and reports, unlimited scheduled reports and a lead generator. That's a low price for agencies already running SEO in SE Ranking. Its own FAQ says the pack doesn't yet apply to SE Visible, so white-label AI visibility reports aren't there today.
Stride Agency is a $499 monthly platform fee plus a Starter, Grow or Scale plan per client at a discount, all on one invoice. Team seats are unlimited, clients get their own logins, branding carries across the dashboard and reports, and account transfer moves a client's site and history into their own account if they leave. It suits agencies that sell AI visibility and fixes as a retainer of their own. The agency page covers the model.

Two quick scenarios
An SEO lead at a regional law firm. They already track rankings and audits in SE Ranking, report monthly, and have a writer on staff. SE Ranking fits: the AI Search add-on puts AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT and Perplexity next to their rankings for $89 a month, and the writer acts on the gaps.
The founder of a two-person outdoor gear store. Nobody has time to turn a dashboard into pages, and they want to know whether ChatGPT visitors buy. Stride fits: each gap arrives as an action item with a draft, and GA4 shows revenue per AI source.
